Few Stories, Lots of Pictures‏

     So, we are pleased to announce that the baptism went well on Saturday, both T and S were baptized and then the following day were confirmed as members of the church. What an awesome experience, so much happiness and joy and smiles and butterflies and ponies frolicking, just awesome. It almost makes me want to be baptized again... lots of their friends and family were able to come to the baptism which was great, especially since we have been working hard to get S's wife and family to learn, so hopefully it was a step in the right direction for them! The two of them were so ready for baptism, their level of conversion and dedication to the gospel is incredible. An example to all of us

     Last pday we went on a sweet hike up to a waterfall in Manadona with some other missionaries in the zone. Fun stuff. Today we are driving up to Tana with the Fianarantsoa zone leaders for a big MLC with everyone there in person, so Reunion and Tamatave will be coming in as well. I'm pumped, it should be a way good meeting, as we already had one of these back in August (I think) and it proved to be very productive. Plus its always nice to have a change from the norm.

     Other news from this week.... there isn't much. Had a nice soiree with the district president and his family on Thursday. They are awesome, although he certainly has his hands full with this district of ours. It's no job for whimps, so its a good thing he is a tough dude.

     That is about it for the week. I have attached several pictures though-- some are from the baptism, with S and T, and also picturess of their families with them that came. Others are pictures of our area. Others are of the waterfall hike. others are of elder Nohaingoinaina, Elder Mack, and Elder Gariki (my house mates)

     Sorry, we aren't a football team, right...  Let your light so shine ladies and gentleman. Be a peculiar people. The more peculiar, the better. After all, we are white kids in an African nation. We have learned a tad about what it means to stick out.
